After being in preschool for a couple of years
we decided that Paul just wasn’t making enough
progress. He was still not toilet trained, and
we felt he should be able to do more. I decided
to go see our pediatrician tell him about our
concerns about Paul. Our pediatrician's worked
with handicapped children and I trusted his judgment.
I asked him about a place in New Albany, Indiana
that our social worker told us about. He agreed
that this might be a good place for Paul. I wasn’t
sure what to do because I didn't want Paul that
far away from us. Jad thought it was the right
thing to do. Paul would be 4 hours away, and we
would only be able to see him about once a month.
We decided to see Bro. Hyles to help us make the
right decision.
