What About Paul? How I have Up My Broken Dreams By Jad Terrebonne

"What About Paul?"

Jad and I did not always see eye to eye
on everything about Paul. Paul was
becoming the center of attention in our
family. The phrase "What about Paul?”
started becoming a sticky point in our
marriage, because he needed so much
attention.

I felt bad that Paul had this disability, and I wanted his life
to be as comfortable as possible. Jad did also, but he felt that
our marriage should come first, which I did agree with, but it
was hard for me split my attention between the both of them.
Jad and I had a few moments of debating on what we should do
about Paul.

Having a special needs child puts a lot of pressure on the
parents. It is definitely a give and take situation. God
doesn't write a manuscript for a handicapped child and there
are many ups and downs. We went to see Bro. Hyles a couple
times about a decision concerning Paul that we needed some
advice on. Thank God for Bro. Hyles' and Bro. Schaap's
wisdom.

James 1:2
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation (adversity):
for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life,
which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him.

God Bless You,
Rachelle
