The Doctors Examination

Finally after 15 months of debating
about what we should do to help
our son Paul, our pediatrition
suggested for us to take him to
a center that deals with handicap
issues. Paul was there diagnosed as having Cerebral Palsy.
They told us that would be a generic term right now for Paul,
so that he could start getting help from the state and
therapist right away. They ran all kinds of tests that day.
The doctor and therapist examined Paul. We were there for
several hours. We could see that Paul had many issues. He
wasn’t even walking yet. He was so far behind all of the
milestones that a young child should be. We felt very
frustrated about the whole situation. I had known that Paul
had something wrong from the start, but now it was becoming
more of a reality. When Paul was first born he looked so
healthy, so cute, and so normal. As I have previously said,
I already knew something was not right, but I never realized
how much was wrong with him. This was becoming a pill that
was getting Very hard to swallow!!!

What time I am afraid, I will Trust in Thee.

God Bless You,
